Creating content for social media can be overwhelming. You want to make sure you are posting things that will help you build your following, attract the right customers and capture the interest of your audience so they will engage.

Make sure your content is on point with what your target market wants and needs. They should be able to look at your page and instantly know that you can provide them with what they need. If your content is all over the place, they will be confused and likely won’t follow you.

Your content should always provide value. Whether that is helpful tips, motivations or behind the scenes looks, find a way to add value so your ideal client will appreciate your content and want more of it.
E-Evoke Emotion
This is what will stop the scroll. If your content can make them laugh, cry or think deeply, they are much more likely to share it with others or even save it for later. In order to evoke emotion in your content, put yourself in their shoes. What would resonate with them? How can you add value while also making them feel something?
T-Take Action
Always have a call to action (CTA) in each post. What do you want them to do after reading your post? Visit your website? Opt-in to a freebie? Purchase a product? Whatever it is, make sure it is clear so there is no confusion. CTAs are important because without one, people won’t know what you want from them and likely won’t take any action.
D-Desirable
Make sure what you are offering is something people actually want! This seems like a no-brainer, but many times we get caught up in our own offers and promotions without thinking about whether or not anyone else would be interested in it too. Desirability also comes into play with how often you post about a certain thing. If you are constantly talking about how amazing your product is but never show any results or real life application, people will eventually tune out because they don’t see the value in what you have to offer.
