KIKIFER’S Academy is looking for Varsity Head Coaches that are willing to be the build blocks that our athletic and activities programs are build upon. Our school wants individuals who take pride in building something from the ground up; who want to be pioneers of KEA in their respective sports and activities. Varsity head coaches are expected to teach valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership, hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship; while leading students to reach their full potential in a positive learning environment. 

• Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and manage team practices

  • Maintain compliance with the IHSA and NCAA, in regards to rules, regulations, and protocols with respect to his or her team

  • Complete any necessary paperwork and communications with key stakeholders such as parents and school administration.  

  • Host team tryouts

  • Organize fundraisers and creative ideas to fund sporting events

• Set realistic and age- appropriate expectations for the student-athlete under his or her charge. even with the rest of the responsibility

  • Ensure the safety of team members at all times. 

• Essential job requirements include:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • First aide and CPR certified

  • Proven work experience as a youth sports coach

  • In-depth knowledge of sporting strategies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
