Doing flexibility work is just as important for a well-rounded fitness routine as strength and cardio work. Incorporating some stretching exercises into your workout schedule will help you improve flexibility, reduce tightness, and ultimately, make your workouts more efficient and safe.
Tight muscles can cause undue strain on the neighboring joints during normal daily function, or they themselves can become injured. As we age, our muscles get shorter and less elastic. We need to take an active role in maintaining and improving the length of our muscles so we can continue to enjoy our abilities without pain.
This course will help you to Improve your posture, reduce back, neck and body pains and tone your muscles. Whether it’s due to too much sitting, too little movement (or a job that requires lots of it), or simply stress, our bodies are feeling stiff. That’s where stretching workouts come in big, since they can make tight or shortened muscles feel a whole lot better.

3 weeks ago I started a stretching course with @nycstretching and I have learned so much. I am so impressed by myself. I learned:
- Active vs Passive stretching
- Flat Back vs Rounded or Folded Back
- how to listen to my BODY!
- what stretches will help me reach my GOALS
....and after each class, I was de-stressed, felt good & relaxed 🤩
I was searching for a stretching class, I need it because I’m running and do weights.
I had tried other classes, some yoga and pilates and they were good. But since I started this class I don’t want to change anything! Gabriella is an amazing teacher, she knows the subject very well, explains everything clearly — you can’t hurt yourself, that’s what important. I would recommend this class to everyone including kids and grown ups!
I liked the community support during the whole course and the homework after each classes.
I also received a quality feedback. If I had a question I’d sent a video or picture of me doing the class and the teacher gave a feedback right away.
