I was shocked when I asked my friend and manifestation expert Croix Sather what is the meaning behind finding pennies.

Anytime that you find money, you are attracting wealth.

But …

If you do what most people do and step over the money thinking, “It’s just a penny.” Then you are actually repelling money. Most people are sub-consciously repelling money and wondering why they are struggling.

If you are wishing for more money but walk past a penny on the ground. What signal are you sending out to the universe? At a sub-conscious level you are vibrating, “Money stay away from me.”

The universe is saying, “Hey, if you won’t pick up a penny, then why should I send you thousands?” Most experts will say you are sending out mixed signals to the universe. But I believe that you are actually sending a clear signal out to the universe, “Don’t send me money.”

What if the universe is testing you to see if you are grateful for even a little penny?

What if by picking up that penny, you are struck with a million dollar idea?

What if you stop to pick up that penny, and when you stand up you meet the love of your life?

It is not about the penny, but what the penny represents (gratitude and abundance)<-[YOUR LINK HERE] and the potentiality of the penny (the million dollar idea or meeting someone).

What if you saw five $20 bills on the ground, would you pick that up? I bet pretty damn fast. That’s what I did when I found $100 (in 20s) in the cross walk. Or the time I found $60 in a store. Or the time I made $25,000 in a week for a few hours of work because I said yes to an opportunity.

But I am just as excited to pick up a penny, because I know it is not “just a penny” to the universe. It’s about the vibration of money.

My kids and I play a game to see who can find the most money when we are out and about. Not in a scavenger hunt (read scarcity) kinda way, but in a serendipitous abundance way. I am teaching them how to be aware of the opportunity of money and to feel abundant about money. Sometimes you will see all three of us running and lunging for a coin on the ground.

It doesn’t matter if it is a penny or hundreds or thousands of dollars. The universe is putting money in front of you all the time.

ALL THE TIME!

Always say yes to any amount of money with gratitude.

Pick up the penny (or any other money you find), rub it between your fingers and say “thank you” to the universe. And then the important part is to pay it forward in gratitude. You must circulate the money to increase its flow.

Your action after finding a penny will signal the universe that you are in a vibration of abundance. The more you do this, the more money will find you.

The fact you are seeing pennies on the ground is a sign that you may be about to manifest a lot more money in your life. But only if you are grateful for that insignificant penny because that penny is not insignificant to the law of abundance. It might just be worth thousands or possibly millions of dollars.  

Most people don’t know this secret, but when you align the vibrational mind with what you truly want, the manifestation process happens soooo much faster.

Are you aware of what the signs are that your life is about to change?

My good friend Croix is a manifestation expert and this is what he told me …

“The universe, God, and source, are giving you signs when your life is about to change and it is also giving you sign posts that you are on the right path.

I like to go hiking. Mountain paths are marked so that it is clear which direction I need to go to reach the mountain peak. But if you don’t know what the signs look like, and if you are not paying attention, you can wander forever not knowing where you are going.

Sometimes the trail signs are great big arrows that you cannot miss. Most often trail signs are just little marks on a tree and are very easy to miss if you do not know what to look for. Once you know to look for the little red or white mark on the tree, it is easy to stay the course and reach your goal to the mountain top.

Most people are not paying attention to the signs in their life or they don’t know what the signs look like, and so they wander endlessly feeling lost and frustrated. When all you have to do is to tune in to the signs that the universe is giving you and you’ll know you are going in the right direction. Once you know the signs, all of a sudden they are everywhere.  

Here is a recent example. I just bought a convertible. I didn’t know this type convertible existed before I bought it. It’s an uncommon car. From the very moment I drove it home, all of a sudden I saw the same type convertible driving down the road. Not once, but several times on the first day. Why is it that the day before I never noticed this car, ever? And I am a car enthusiast so cars in general are high in my awareness but I ever noticed this car before because I wasn’t tuned-in to see it. But once I tuned-in to that particular car, I could not miss it.

Science calls this the Reticular Activating System. This is when you are tuned-in to seeing something specific that you didn’t notice before. You become hyper aware. It feels like a super power.

It goes deeper than that. When you are tapped in and tuned in, you and the universe align and all of a sudden you see signs everywhere that you are on the right life path and good things are on their way. Your third mind, aka your vibrational mind, is the level of the mind that receives these messages and signs from the universe. Just like you see the signs on the trail or cars just like the one you just bought.

Some signs you are on the right path are seeing the same numbers over and over like 777 or 1111, or 4747. It could be seeing the same inspirational quote over and over. You could be driving down the road wondering about something and you see a sign (literally) that has a word gives you clarity to the answer you seek. For me, blue butterflies are a common and clear sign.

Subject line: What to do when you feel alone and want to give up.

When the path is long and difficult is easy to feel like you should give up. But how do you know you should keep going forward?

My friend, professional speaker and world record champion, Croix Sather puts it this way …

“I get asked, ‘Did you ever want to give up when you were running across America?’ When I was running, my body ached intensely, my mind was tired, and my will-power was exhausted. Every day I wanted to quit. But I never quit and I never considered quitting.

A better question to ask is, “How did you know to keep going?” Part of the answer is to know that you are on the right path and see the signs confirming that you are suppose to be right here and right now.

Every day I would run a marathon distance a day. Plus each day I would speak to audiences in need. These were people in difficult life circumstances. I spoke to wounded warriors, homeless shelters, addiction centers, juvenile detention centers, and rural high schools.

Every time that I felt the weakest and the desire to give up was the strongest, something would happen that would give me strength and power to keep going. These were signs and gifts from the universe saying, “Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.”

It was day 21, I was in Las Cruces, New Mexico and I still had 5 miles to go when my body shut down and I collapsed to the ground. It was late at night and I was alone. Or so I thought. As I sat on the sidewalk and my body was screaming in pain, I saw something shinny on the ground. It was a red coin about the size of a half dollar. On it, it said, “One Month Sobriety.”

My dad was an alcoholic for many years until one day he had a day dream that he was talking to his father when he said, “Son, it’s time to take your life back. I love you and know you can do it. You are stronger than this challenge. It’s time to stop drinking forever.” My dad put down the bottle in his hand. Threw out all the alcohol in the house and he never drank again.”

That one month sobriety coin I found reminded me that my dad had the strength to overcome his greatest challenge. So I stood up, I put the coin in my pocket and I started walking. My last five miles should have only taken an hour to finish. It took me 4 hours to finish.

The universe is saying to you, “Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.” The signs are there when you are at your darkest moments, you just have to believe.

That red coin that I found, I carried it with me for the remaining 79 days. I would hold it and rub it as if a genie was going to appear and it always helped me move forward. When I arrived in NYC at the finish line, I gave the coin to my dad. I told him the story of the moment I found the coin and he still carries the coin to this day.

Sometimes he tells the story about me running across America to his friends and they don’t believe that it is possible. “Nobody can run a marathon a day.” He pulls out the coin and tells them the story. My dad has helped dozens of men stop drinking in his AA meetings and he has been sober for over 15 years.

We are all connected. Physically, energetically, vibrationally and spiritually. We are never alone. Always keep the faith that you are amazing and you are here to do something special.”

We are always focused on something. Even when we don’t realize it. You may be focused at a conscious level or a sub-conscious level. And always at a vibrational level.

This means we are ALWAYS manifesting whether we realize it or not.

The important question is … what are you focusing on?

Where you focus goes, your energy flows.
Where energy flows, your life will show.

If you focus on all the wrong, you will attract more things going wrong.
If you focus on what you don’t have, you will attract more lack.
If you focus on wanting of things, you will always be in wanting.
If you focus on things “coming to you”, they will always be in the future.

Our natural tendency is to focus on the bad, what’s wrong, and the problems. This is how we survive and get through the day.

But if you want to thrive, you need to shift your focus and energy to what’s going right and what will go right.

I have a lot of friends who are authors and speakers. Some have become very successful while others are still struggling or not moving forward at all.

When I was learning the skill and art of public speaking, I would enter speech competitions to improve my ability. I often made it to the semi-finals but I never came home with the first place title.

This was frustrating, but I didn’t let it slow me down. I still sought out every speaking opportunity because I knew I would go pro. I was focused on the outcome. Eventually I got my first paid speaking gig that paid $200. And then I got another and another. Eventually I was getting paid top dollar. I crossed over the massive canyon between “wanting” to be a professional speaker and making a great living as a professional speaker.

Why am I telling you this?

Every one of those people who beat me on the stage in the speech competitions are still in their day job they do not like, even though they all dream of going pro. I admit, they are more polished speakers than I am and they learned how to win on the stage, but they never believed they could be a professional speaker. In other words, they focus on the wrong thing and they don’t understand why they are stuck dreaming about it instead of living it.

They focused on the “distance" to the finish line and not the finish line. They focused on the challenges and obstacles rather than the dream that they want.   

What changed my life is going to a speaker’s event. The main speaker was traveling the world, making great money and loving his life. But as a speaker, he was not a very good presenter. Not nearly as good as the my speaker friends wining the speech competitions. And yet, he is living his dream.

When you align to your “inevitable future” it manifests easy. You start by being grateful for what you do have. Don’t curse your old car, pat the dashboard and thank it like you would a puppy. Gratitude for “what is” crucial. Because “what is” is on the path to what will be.

Then you feel the emotions of driving in the new car. How does it make you feel when you are walking towards your shinny car and you hear the beep beep as you unlock the door? How does it feel as you sit inside and have the new car smell and you hear the motor come to life and the radio starts to play your favorite song?

I know you don’t have it. But you have to believe that you do for it to come true.

The mind cannot tell the difference between what is vividly imagined and felt as what is real.

Have you ever met an athlete that didn’t visualize the big win? No because they all see the finish line before they step up to the start line.

I saw the finish line in NYC thousands of times in my mind before I left California to run across America. It was inevitable that I would finish and set a new world record.

Here is something you probably never heard of before.

If you are visual, you see it in your mind.
If you are auditory you hear it.
If you are an empath you feel it.

But whatever you are, you must believe it and feel the emotion of when you are living it.

3 - Take inspired action
You have to take action towards the things that inspire you and bring you alive. Nothing happens without action. Action is visualizing like we talked about above. And action is taking the steps to reach you goals and dreams.

If you want a new job, you have to let people know you are looking for a new job so that the universe can align to make it happen. And then you have to go to the interview for them to fall in love with you.  

If you want to meet your soul mate, you need to let go of the past so that you are fee to attract the perfect person for you.

If you want pay your bills off and be debt free, you have to value the feeling of being debt free and then make a plan for it to happen.

1 - You are always manifesting.
2 - Think, feel and believe as if it has already happened.
3 - Take inspired action.
