About Umm Jamaal

 

Umm Jamaal ud-Din is an Australian revert to Islam and teacher of Islamic Jurisprudence and Theology at the Islamic College of Australia.

 

Umm Jamaal studied the Qur'an in Saudi Arabia, completed a B.A. Languages majoring in Arabic and holds a license to teach (ijazah) in the Rules of Recitation of the Qur'an. She studied Islamic Jurisprudence and Theology from various scholars at the Open Islamic Academy in Saudi Arabia. She is currently doing an Honours degree in Islamic Law and jurisprudence through the Al-Madina International University and has completed memorising the Quran.

 

Umm Jamaal ud-Din is passionate about motivating sisters towards being more steadfast in their Faith. One of her main goals in life is also empowering sisters by sharing her knowledge of the Islamic Shariah and own life experiences as a married woman of over 26 years and a mother of 5 children aged 10 - 24 years of age.
