The purpose of our extremity manipulation courses for physical therapists is to teach evidence based practice in thrust manipulation of Upper Extremity: shoulder, elbow wrist, hand and the Lower Extremity: hip, knee, ankle, foot. This upper and lower limb HVLA course will teach the clinical decision making used to treat pathologies of the extremities using, peripheral joint manipulation, current statistics, analysis of outcomes from clinically relevant research, safety measures and screening required prior to providing this manual intervention. Additionally, students of our sports extremity manipulation courses will be taught the psychomotor skills to perform peripheral joint manipulative techniques of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle and foot. They serve as both upper and lower extremity manipulation courses.
