Warehouse Manager


Overview:

This position is a key function in our thriving manufacturing and export business. You will ultimately be responsible for helping the Utemaster team run a smooth operation. 

 

This role reports to the Operations Manager.

 

 

Role responsibilities:

 

Plan and coordinate incoming goods quickly and efficiently to achieve team objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

 

Effectively supervise and manage the welfare of the team, which includes organising training and development and overseeing health and safety.

 

Ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space allocation, stock transfers and dealing with any non-conforming product.

 

Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels.

 

Oversee accurate and periodic cycle counts and stocktakes.

 

Ensure the quality of the product and service within the warehouse is maintained to the highest possible standards for the customer.

 

Ensure quality procedures and team quality targets are strictly adhered to.

 

Implement our Health and Safety Policy to maintain safe working conditions and practices within the Warehouse.

 

Actively contribute to our continuous improvement program

 

Consumables purchasing
