Fidelity Title is the premier leader in Title Insurance and Escrow Services. Fidelity has a great reputation among real estate agents and lenders because it provides top notch service.
I develop relationships with real estate agents, mortgage professionals, and other real estate related professionals to promote the services and products that Fidelity provides for title insurance and escrow services.
Selling title insurance is fun. Typically, I have several one-on-one meetings with real estate agents discussing how to support their business development and marketing needs. I am often demonstrating the tools and products Fidelity has developed to help them grow their businesses.
A few times a week, I attend real estate caravan pitch meetings and tours to network with the agents and see the properties that are on tour for that day. The rest of my day flies by with calls, emails, and texts. My weeks are always full of meetings, events, seminars, caravans, presentations, and networking events.
A common challenge in the business is when an issue comes up on the title report right before it is set to close that needs immediate attention. As the liaison between the real estate agent and the Fidelity Title Officer, I am there to help support and resolve the situation.
...how well received I was in my territory. Agents liked hearing about my ideas as I presented myself as a strategic partner and not just as a “title rep.” My past experiences in sales and the media provided them with new and measurable ways to grow their businesses.
I work in the field most of the day. My car is my office. I spend the day going from real estate office to real estate office for meetings and trainings. I always want to book my meetings at the real estate agent’s office so I am seen being there by as many people as possible.
Having sales experience is always a plus. My background was business development and marketing in the media so it all came together for me in this role. Other skills I use are putting on trainings, events, seminars and networking events. In addition, a big part of the job is the ability to resolve situations by remaining calm, finding a resource or solution for the problem.
I am far more comfortable thinking quickly on my feet! Agents often come up to me with questions on various title issues.
I work hard to promote the great services Fidelity provides to our individual clients. I am always professional in the field. I promote our events in my territory and on social media by emphasizing the partnership and value Fidelity brings to the real estate agents.
I was a sales and marketing director for a home and auto insurance company.
I love sales. There is always moving up the ladder as a sales manager and regional sales manager working with a team of sales executives.
No specific level of education is required. A sales executive does have a Title Representative License that is obtained by doing an online course through the company. It is renewed every 2 years.
I regularly use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Social media has also become an essential part of the business. I am also always learning new Apps and tools that Fidelity creates as well as other industry Apps for sales and marketing.
A Title Sales Executive career is wonderful. It becomes a career and not a job because you have a vested interest in the success of your clients and your company. It is a career you can have for a lifetime.
