“Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. ... “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. “Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me.”
— (Mark 10:15; Matthew 18:3-5)

Youth Ministires of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

GREATER RANDOLPH YOUTH MINISTRIES

HISTORY | MINISTRIES | MISSION

The youth department helps youth and children to develop and experience a loving relationship with God. Some of the ministries include Pathfinders, Adventurers, Young Adults, and Public Outreach. We seek to equip and empower individuals and families using spirit-filled resources, products, programs, training, and many other services to assist them in accomplishing ministry in their unique settings and fulfill the Gospel commission.

A Brief History of Pathfinders:

Various Youth Ministries

  • Adventurers

The Adventurer Club is a Seventh-day Adventist Church-sponsored ministry open to all families of children in grades pre-kindergarten - 4 (kids ages 4-9).

  • Ambassadors

The Ambassador Club is not intended as a replacement of, but instead, will strengthen the current Senior Youth/ Young Adult Ministry of our Church. For ages 16-21.

  • Pathfinders

Enlarging their windows to the world and building a relationship with God are the dual objectives of this club designed for children ages 10-15.

  • Young Adults

The story of the Adventist Youth Society began over 125 years ago along a dusty country lane in Michigan with two young boys kneeling in prayer and today serves ages 21-30+.

Vision Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness. Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, we pursue this through Christ-like living, communicating, discipling, teaching, healing, and serving.

"With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world!" (Education, p. 271)
