I’m guessing you’re here because you’re looking for a way to market your business better, you’re looking for more/better leads, customers, clients, referrals and or profits or you're looking hone in on the few key areas (there's actually five which I'll get to in a second).

 

To get those you must understand the "secret" to marketing your business successfully…

 

What’s the secret?

 

I’m going to tell you today.

 

There are a lot of people out there that love nothing better to confuse you and make marketing and advertising sound way harder it is. Marketing your business while not easy is relatively simple.

There are only three steps:

 

Step 1: The Right Message

Step 2: The Right Market

Step 3: The Right Media(s)

 

That’s it. It doesn’t have to be more complicated than that.

 

This is what I do. I help you put together the right message for the right market and deliver it using  the right media(s).

 

And I do it in a way that’s a SYSTEM.

 

You do the work once and you profit from it again and again.

 

That’s what you should be basing your marketing and advertising on.

 

Not based on whims, or fads that come and go but based on sound principles of human behaviour, marketing fundamentals and my five pillar of profits (detailed below). That’s the stuff that doesn’t change.

 

My belief is that you should look to build systems in your business that are repeatable, scalable and most importantly profitable. By all means no easy task but if you’re willing to put the effort in you will get the rewards.

How I Can Help You...

Lots of business owners and entrepreneurs come to me for help and generally speaking when I ask them what's their biggest challenge, I get the same two answers every time… more leads and more clients.

 

But here’s the problem.

 

That ISN’T what most business owners want.

 

Oh sure, they wan more clients, but what does it take to produce more clients? First, you MUST generate leads… and then you MUST convert those leads into clients.

 

By breaking down the end result of wanting more clients into the actual steps required to generate them, namely leads and conversion, you can then put together a specific strategy and plan of action to achieve that end result.

 

Make sense so far?

 

As for revenue, what does it take to produce more revenue?

 

First, once you generate leads and convert those leads into clients, those clients will be paying you a specific value for what you sell.

 

It comes down to the basic value equation – you get paid in proportion to the amount of value you give. The more value you give, the more you get paid. See this diagram below which I’ve borrowed from Russell Brunson.

So sale value is the first of my five pillars. But it doesn’t stop there.

 

You obviously have expenses to pay and those expenses come directly out of that revenue you just generated, so the next pillar of profits to consider is your margin.

 

How MUCH of that revenue do you actually get to put into your pocket?

 

But you’re still not done. If your client only buys from you once, you’re right back where you started. 

 

Now you need to generate a new batch of leads and convert them into clients every time you want to generate more profits.

 

This is where a lot of businesses fall down, they have just ONE product, ONE service, ONE offer.

 

What if instead you could add even more value to your clients in exchange for more revenue (and profits) and thus increase the number of transactions they complete with you year after year?

 

NOW you have something to build upon.

 

Here’s the bottom line.

 

There are five critical pillars that every business MUST address in order to achieve the true potential of their business and unlock their hidden opportunities.

  • Leads
  • Conversions
  • Average sale value
  • Number of transactions
  • Profit margins.

Your first action step is to figure out exactly where your numbers are right now in relation to the five pillars above.

  • How many leads on average do you generate each year?
  • Out of those leads how many do you convert into customers/clients/patients?
  • What is the average sale value of what you’re offering?
  • How many transactions on average do your customers/clients/patients have with you?
  • What is your average profit margin?

Once you have them, you can work out what you need to do to, or what specific areas you need to focus on that will give you the biggest bang for your buck.

 

When you answer the questions above you start to get clarity.

  • You may find that yes you do indeed need more leads and you should build out a new lead generation advertising system that both attracts targeted leads, qualifies them and indoctrinates them into your way of doing business.
  • You might find you need to tweak, hone, completely rethink or automate your sales funnels, your copy, processes and scripts to increase your conversions.
  • You may need to explore the opportunity of INCREASING your prices in a strategic way so you can increase your average transaction size.
  • You may need to come up with some new offers for your customers and clients or reactivate lapsed customers and clients through segmented email marketing (or direct mail) campaigns.
  • You may need to look at ways you can systematise your business, your follow up, your processes so they are automated, thus reducing overhead and increasing your profit margin.
  • Or you may go all out an focus on working on all FIVE pillars for exponential growth. 

Pretty straight forward so far?

 

This may seem like common sense (and it is) but like I say all the time. It’s only common sense when it’s pointed out to you. Sadly it’s common sense that’s not that common.
