This membership site is based on the thousands of hours I spent studying wine and becoming a Master of Wine (it took me 13 years all together), as well as my 17 years experience teaching wine in San Diego!
As a Thirsty Scholar member you get access to my personal tasting compendium of the world of grapes, tasting markers, regional differences and top producers. The site is laid out like a compendium. So when you open each grape compendium there are videos, downloads, all to help you master tasting. Depending on which tier you sign up for, in addition to the online compendium, there are live online Q&A sessions and access to recordings.

Step 2: Decide if you want the wine to pair
For the Secondary and Tertiary membership tiers, the online wine tasting classes will involve tasting the wine club wines together. I have partnered with Big Hammer Wines to offer you access to my own curated wines that match the online compendium (producers, regions, grapes). These wines will match the grapes being featured for that month for an integrated experience. Wines ship in 6 packs, so once you order you will get 6 (to last you 2 months).
