QUOTES & ESTIMATES
Customer quotes and estimates can be entered line-by-line or according to a Bill of Materials, past order and customer default. Quotes are constantly tracked by status and customer in the sales pipeline and can easily be converted into Sales Orders when the customer is ready to close the deal.
A customer quote can be turned into a sales order with a single click of the mouse. All information is instantly captured in the Order Entry module while the original quote is retained for historical reporting and analysis.
When a quote becomes a sales order or is rejected, the sales pipeline is instantly updated to reflect the most current status of every opportunity.
System administrators can configure The Enterprise to require customer approval before a customer sales order is sent to fulfillment and logistics. Unapproved orders are highlighted in both the sales pipeline and each individual sales associate To-Do list.
Sales associates, managers and customer service representatives can groom their pipeline by status, age, stock item, customer and region. While each sales associate can see only their pipeline deals, sales managers, supervisors and directors can manage entire sales funnels according to a variety of metrics and filters.
CUSTOMER SALES
Sales orders can be fulfilled via Purchase Order, Production Order or Pick Ticket. Sometimes a combination of fulfillment methods will be necessary to satisfy the requirements of a particular customer sales order or line item.
Commissions schedules can be defined for each sales associate based on a variety of customer, geographical and product characteristics. Commission earnings and payments can be scheduled using the Payroll calendar and commissions can, optionally, be updated as a result of adjustments or RMA's.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION
Each line item on a customer sales order can be "connected" to a production order when order fulfillment will be via the production cycle. Production runs can be designated against a specific sales order to ensure that resultant product is correctly held and allocated.
Each line item on a customer sales order can be "connected" to a pick ticket when order fulfillment will be via stock inventory.
Each line item on a customer sales order can be "connected" to a purchase order when order fulfillment will be via external sourcing. Purchase Orders and subsequent receivers can be designated against a specific sales order to ensure that the resultant product is correctly held and allocated.
