Gabriel Gordon

Renowned for his expertise in ballet conducting, Gabriel Gordon has spent over 35 years captivating audiences as a violinist, conductor, composer, and arranger. His work with Ballet West, where he has conducted The Nutcracker, Rodeo, and Les Noces, highlights his unique ability to merge the elegance of ballet with masterful orchestral leadership.

In addition to his role at Ballet West, Gabriel is the chief conductor of The New American Philharmonic and regularly conducts for Chamber Orchestra Ogden and The Nova Chamber Series. He is also the Artistic Director of The Ogden Bach Festival and serves as the Orchestra Director at Syracuse Arts Academy.

Beyond ballet, Gabriel has performed as a violinist with esteemed orchestras such as the American Symphony and the Santa Fe Symphony, and is a founding member of the Daponte String Quartet. In 2015, he founded the NEXT Ensemble, where many of his compositions and arrangements have premiered.

In 2022, Gabriel received national attention for conducting his arrangement of the "State Anthem of Ukraine" at a Utah Jazz game, an event covered by major media outlets including The Independent and Newsweek.
