2.5 hours rehearsal per week

The purpose of this team is to experience a true team spirit and train and develop together for a longer period of time. As a member of the team you will be trained in Sarah's style of choreography, which will not only help you to become a better dancer but will also improve your performance skills.

We will also learn Choreographies from other international Choreographers and perform together.

Sarah style is a combination of traditional mambo and afro elements mixed with contemporary ideas of choreography. With these elements vibrant pieces are created that will help you on your way to become a precise, strong, elegant, fast and expressive dancer. In the weekly intense trainings, Sarah focuses not only on choreography but also on all important basic techniques. During the development of the team, they will be brought to an advanced level and will be explained to you in detail and with an individual approach.

Are you interested in joining a team of strong and inspiring women? Do you love to dance and are you ambitious to perform on stage? Are you a team player with a lot of motivation and passion? If the answer to these questions is yes, we would love to get to know you.

We are looking for a willingness to join an intense training with an equal commitment to both Mambo and other dance styles such as contemporary dance, afro & classical techniques. There isn´t a mould you need to fit, we do not work in this way. Some of our team members started dancing late and did not undergo any training before. That does not matter to us, it is about willingness to work hard, potential & talent.

THE AUDITION AND SPOTS EXPLAINED

You will participate in our regular training plus, have a 30 min. private session with Sarah where you can ask questions about dance & the team and get to know each other a little better. We will give away 3 regular spots this semester for everybody who is already on the technical and expressive level of the group.

But do not be shy, you should apply in any case as we are also giving away 2 guest spots.

A guest dancer is someone with a strong mindset with lots of motivation and engagement and someone that is willing to give a 100% even with a little less dance training. They will train with us and will become a part of the team, as soon as they are ready, they will get the option to perform with us and become a fixed team member.

What is the 150€ registration fee?

Off class management

Provide us with the necessary resources to take care of the nitty gritty management stuff. We are providing you with the Yerba Buena Online Academy, project Facebook groups, Whatsapp groups, newsletters, support, keep you up to date and everything else that is going on when it comes to bringing you the best education possible.
Freedom & Serenity

Enables us to overdraw the courses without worries if necessary, which is the case often. if you've been there, you probably already know <3

It secures us for each project due to the very limited space available. Also it allows us to release you from a project in case of emergency.
One-time charged

The registration fee is due only once per semester and is non-refundable.

Whats included in the monthly fee?

Training once a week

All performance projects have 2.5 hours of training per week and the LABs have 90 minutes each.
Necessary extra trainings

Weeks of additional technical and stage rehearsals on Weekends for several hours to prepare you for the performance in the best possible way.
Preferential prices & Goodies

Discounted price for all open courses of the YB Art Community. Reduced price for all private lessons.
Individual coaching in small groups if required. And if you perform at a congress or festival you will also have a much better price for the full pass.
