Living out the principles they teach within their own marriage, Hasani and Danielle created Couples Academy, a relationship-based learning institute committed to placing couples on the path to fulfillment.
I grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York and attended State University of New York at Fredonia where I received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. I also hold a master’s degree in Business Administration from Winthrop University. No college degree could have ever prepared me for the difficulties and pressures I faced in life while trying to appear I had it all together. It all changed in 2003, when my life started to crumble. Through God’s grace, I found Grace Ministries and began a counseling and healing journey and learning the truth about myself. A journey that not only changed my life but saved it too. In 2010, I went back to Grace Ministries and after two years, completed their Pastoral Counselor training program.In 2013, I joined Healing Grace Ministries, part-time, and finished my Counselor training. In 2015, I walked away from my secular, corporate job and devoted my life to full-time ministry by serving the needs of others.
After six and half wonderful years of serving at Healing Grace Ministries, I decided to open Lifewell Ministries to focus on sharing what I’ve learned, sharing all I know and sharing what I’ve experienced from my own healing journey. I know the counseling process at Lifewell Ministries works. Why? because I’ve walked and lived it myself.
Honestly, much of what I shared above was has only possible because of the incredible faith, prayer and support from my beautiful wife, Jill. I’m so blessed and thankful to have my wife and our 3 children, Steven, Kelly and Lydia in my life!

LaKeesha Hines
Certified Professional Life Coach
LaKeesha Hines obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in School Counseling from Argosy University (Tampa, FL). Her background includes serving as a coach, trainer, liaison, and instructor professionally.
LaKeesha is a Certified Professional Life Coach with a passion for working with women, couples, and families. Her specialties are parenting issues, preparing for marriage, and infidelity recovery. She also works as a school counselor supporting children in grades K-12 and their families. She has served as an adjunct instructor of Psychology at two local colleges, on-site and virtually, to nursing students. Previously, she worked as a Parent Liaison for the School District of Hillsborough County where she resolved a variety of issues and concerns from parents regarding the academic success of their children with disabilities. This role also included conferring with district personnel, providing and interpreting information about school procedures and instructional programs, coaching parents to become effective supporters for their children, and facilitating and participating in training efforts.
LaKeesha enjoys volunteering with community agencies/ organizations in her spare time and advocating for the special needs community. She sits on several boards to include the Superintendent’s ESE Advisory Council, Parent Advisory Committee for St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hillsborough County Parenting & Resources Coalition, and the Family Healthcare Foundation. However, nothing brings her more fulfillment than serving as the CEO of her non-profit organization, Support4Caregivers. This organization provides resources and support to families who have children with special
needs.
She and her husband co-facilitate bi-monthly support groups for caregivers of children with disabilities. LaKeesha also has the honor and pleasure of hosting events for moms, dads, families, and couples’ nights. As a mom of a child with special needs, she views this as her opportunity to give back even more to her community. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything she does, both professionally and personally. Raquel Chanel Watts born and raised in the Los Angeles Area, graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and Communications. Raquel attended Law School at the University of Laverne, has a doctoral degree in Biblical Counseling from Friends International Christian University in Merced and has her certification in Life Coaching from Coach Training Alliance.
Raquel has been a member of Crenshaw Christian Center for 40 years (since age 10) and has been an active Helps Ministry Leader for 40 years volunteering in the areas of the Family Network, Women’s Fellowship, Singles Ministry, Intercessory Prayer, Reception Committee and the Music Ministry..
Raquel is currently the Advisor of The Family Network at Crenshaw Christian Center. The Family Network encompasses the Men, Women, Singles, Married and Young Adult Ministries. Raquel was formerly the President of the Women’s Fellowship and The President of the Singles Ministry at Crenshaw Christian Center under the leadership of Founder, Apostle Frederick K.C. Price and Pastor Fred Price, Jr..
Raquel is currently a Senior Litigation Specialist for Mitchell Law Corporation and formerly served in the same position for one of the largest Insurance companies in the World. Her legal background and expertise can be found in her 30 years of experience in Workers Compensation Litigation.
Raquel was the Radio Talk Show Host for her own weekly aired Talk show “The NakidTruth” on KTYM on Los Angeles. The talk show addressed cutting edge and relevant issues that people deal with everyday. Raquel’s show had a listener base of approximately 28,000 people.
It is Raquel’s desire that all come to know the rewards of being God’s creation. She is really focused on moving people out of their dysfunction to freedom.
