Horse Power: An 8 week intensive challenge for 8 – 12 adult men looking to get power and control back in their lives following loss of a partner, such as separation, divorce, or illness. NO HORSE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
The Challenge: It’s time to get uncomfortable. Yeah, we are going to talk about feelings, but this group is not your usual “group therapy”. This is a group where you are going to be supported, encouraged, challenged, and celebrated. We are going to do relationship work and that is going to take a deep dive into yourself, your peers in the group, and … horses.
Why Horses? Horses are fantastic at reading human emotions and intention. They are perfect teachers of looking within and understanding ourselves. Working with horses let’s us better understand our interactions in other relationships, providing direct and immediate feedback. They are suited to not only better understand relationship wounds, but also help heal them.
