Overactive to Sedentary

This is the super athlete, the person that has trained their whole life. Maybe it was an athlete in college or semi-pro, or even professional, and then all of a sudden their sporting life stops, so their daily training stops and they have to start working or they start sitting at a desk job most of the week, and then they still go on the weekends and do the weekend warrior thing and play really hard.

WHO IS IT FOR

  • Were usually extremely active in sports such as running, cycling, soccer, gymnastics or basketball.

  • Became sedentary soon after retiring from sport due to work, injury, or family life.

  • Some patients are weekend warriors that don’t train, or practice sufficiently but still go hard when playing and feel something go within their pelvic area.

  • Some patients are hyper-muscular and develop chronic tension from overtraining that creates a collapse of the pelvic floor.

  • Most of the time women of this archetype have strong and stable joints but their muscles are weak from non-use or tension induced weakness.
