Darrell W. Helton was born in Detroit, Michigan and has been a native of Texas for over 30 years. Mr. Helton graduated in 1989 from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He attended law school at Regent University in Norfolk, Virginia and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1995, after which he was licensed to practice law in Texas.

Mr. Helton has focused his legal practice on workers‛ compensation, social security disability, and other forms of administrative law. Mr. Helton routinely practices before the Texas Department of Insurance-Division of Workers’ Compensation and the Social Security Administration. Mr. Helton has represented clients in hundreds of contested case matters and hearings before both agencies, as well as at trial.
