Our mission is to create and provide name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities for student athletes at HBCUs. We provide education and career development programming to support their career goals. We work to build and foster community through networking and mentorship.

This conference was created with HBCU student athletes in mind. Making HBCU athletes our priority, we wanted to create a space for them to learn, grow, and feel comfortable being themselves.
This isn't your typical conference. We have curated our sessions and the conference experience based on what an HBCU student athlete finds important and is interested in. This is an event and experience you don't want to miss!

National HBCU Athlete Day is all about shining a light on the incredible impact that HBCU athletes have had on and off the field. Their stories of hard work, resilience, and triumph deserve to be heard, and we’re here to make sure their voices echo far and wide. From unforgettable moments in college sports to their lasting influence in their communities, HBCU athletes continue to inspire us all.
What makes us different?
Rise HBCU isn’t just your typical collective. Adding the uniqueness of being black-owned (yeah, we’re blackity black over here) and formed by HBCU graduates (Eagle Pride Amplified) who are former athletes, we know how to connect with college athletes and our community. The black experience, specifically the HBCU experience, is like none other.
Rise HBCU is a place where we (yes, “we” because we’re family) can come together to support our HBCU student athletes with NIL opportunities but also connect with them and each other in an innovative, inspiring way. Whether you’re an NCCU alum or just a supporter of HBCUs, you are welcome to join Rise HBCU in our efforts to help our student athletes with NIL and beyond.
