The answer depends on the look you're going for and your skin characteristics. On the day of your initial session, we will provide you with a recommendation, so don't worry if you can't decide prior to booking.
Microblading is intended to provide a realistic look and can be more of a daytime eyebrow look. Not everyone is a candidate for this technique though. Those with combination or oily skin should stay away from this technique as the results may not heal too favorably.
Ombre Powder is intended to provide a defined brow, similar to a brow makeup look. This technique is suited for most skin types, including oily skin. This technique may initially look scary as it's very pigmented, but 50-70% of the darkness will subside once healed. This will leave behind a soft powdery look.
Our most requested technique is a combination of strokes plus shading (Microshading). This technique gives the best results for both a natural-looking and longer-lasting brow!
On average, results can last 1-3 years after receiving the initial touch-up. However, the minimum or maximum amount of pigment retention or time can’t be determined with certainty as results vary depending on various factors. These factors include skin type, healing, lifestyle, and aftercare.
We choose a color by mixing pigments together after determining your skin type, skin undertone, brow hair color and personal preference.
If you take blood thinners on a daily basis, then bleeding may occur. Bruising is rare but can occur. There is usually some tenderness for a few hours.
The pigment will fade in certain areas and those will appear lighter than others. We highly recommend applying sunscreen directly every day to allow for longer-lasting results. It is expected for the pigment to change in tone, according to a few factors, such as how long you've had your pigment, skin characteristics, lifestyle, etc. For these reasons, yearly touch-up appointments are recommended.
Nope! In fact, permanent makeup tools are designed specifically so that they do not cut the hair when performing the procedure.
Unfortunately, we do not work on previously tattooed eyebrows or lips. Overall, it’s better to have the previous pigment removed so that your new artist can provide you with the best results.
Lip Blush is a form of tattooing that involves lining and shading the lips to achieve a natural-looking lip tint. The initial results look very vibrant at first, but will fade 50-70% once healed, leaving behind a natural looking lip tint. The results after the initial touch-up session may last 2-5 years. However, the minimum or maximum amount of pigment retention or time can’t be determined with certainty as results vary depending on various factors. These factors include skin healing, lifestyle, and aftercare.
This depends on your personal preferences and lifestyle. If you normally wear little to no makeup, you may not feel the need to apply makeup on top of your PMU. You may still want to add a bit of topical makeup when wearing a full makeup look.
Not following the above directions may result in excessive bleeding and poor healing results.
