A Qualified Nutritional Therapist and Personal Trainer on a mission to help women break free from restrictive diets and improve their relationship with food and exercise.
Cheryl Dean Coaching provides more than your average Personal Training and Nutritional service. Cheryl is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, NLP Practitioner and APPI Pilates Instructor. With over two decades of experience in the health and fitness industry Cheryl has worked with clients around the world including Richard Branson and professional athletes. But her greatest achievement is creating and developing her own Fitness and Nutrition programme back in 2000 that she has delivered to hundreds of men and women allowing her to set up her own full time Business in 2014.
Whether you are looking to lose weight, a regular gym bunny or a seasoned athlete Cheryl's breadth of knowledge and wide scope of practice allows her to support all aspects of health including; movement, nutrition, sleep, stress and injury prevention. She can help you get the most out of your training and utilise your time effectively by helping you reach your fitness and health goals.
Normally in this section you would find some long spiel about all the clients that Cheryl has helped, fitness qualifications and her 'Philosophy' to training. However, human beings are complex and each and everyone of us have our own physiology and psychology so there is no one size fits all approach with my training or nutrition advice and plans.
Cheryl believe's coaching is about guiding people and a two way process, sharing her knowledge and experiences to help anyone and everyone become fitter and healthier. It is for those are who are willing to make a change. No matter who you are or where you are starting from. Cheryl's programmes offer the real deal, facilitating lifelong meaningful change. Nutrition - despite what you may read has no quick fix and there are no secret formulas.
Cheryl will create effective "Personal" training and nutrition programmes that are tailored to suit your goals and ability. Cheryl does not use generic exercise and meal plans. She will get to understand you, your lifestyle, your job and what you really want to achieve and help you become the healthiest version of you!

Weight Management
Cheryl has been running Nutritional Therapy programmes since she began her Fitness career in 2000 at Esporta Health and Fitness. These weight loss programmes address all kinds of physical and mental issues such as obesity, IBS, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, hormonal issues along with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Cheryl has also worked with clients to aid and accelerate their progress for knee reconstructions, hip replacements, shoulder operations and general sporting injuries. There is not a one size fits all approach where nutrition is concerned. Cheryl does not believe in rushing weight loss. Statistically people who lose large amounts of weight in a short space of time are more likely to put it back on faster than those who undergo a slower, more controlled plan.
Sports Performance Nutrition Coaching
Whether you are training for your first 10km or a seasoned runner, a cyclist on your way to a sportive or competition, a triathlete looking to take on the full Ironman distance, Sports nutrition coaching can help you achieve your optimal performance and perfectly complement your training.
Personal Training
Cheryl Dean Coaching provides one to one Personal Training and Nutritional advice in a fun and motivating environment.
A typical Personal Training session lasts 60 minutes & includes work to strengthen & condition the body whilst at the same time reducing body fat (usually mistaken for wanting to lose body weight). Combined with posture correction & injury prevention using APPI Pilates exercises.
Included in the sessions Cheryl will carry out a full Body Composition Analysis. This includes: • Weight • Body Composition Analysis – (Body fat %, Muscle Mass % Hydration Levels, Basal Metabolic Rate, Visceral Fat) • Body measurements – (Arms, Chest, Waist, Hip, Thigh)
Food diary analysis, meal planning and recipe ideas are provided on my 3 month Kickstarter plan and 6 month Discovery Plan.
