Validating Passphrases
A way that members provide proof that the videos of their exercises are not old or recycled is by providing a verbal passphrase at the beginning and/or end of their videos.
Starting Passphrase: "It's Just The Beginning"
Finishing Passphrase: "It's Just The Beginning"

Next Update: Planned on or before ~ 1/20/2023
When Interacting with Posts:
Do:
- Be kind and respectful of the other users of the community
- Be encouraging and motivating to the users who have different backgrounds, capabilities, and goals
- Upvote users' posts who submit good content and "give it a best effort" and Flag/Downvote/Report spam and video posts of people who "give an obvious poor effort or cheat" where applicable (e.g. on The EN Blog on Steemit)
Don't:
- Be disrespectful to others
- Spam or post videos that lack the quality content that is the focus of The EN - exercise, health, and motivation.
Please attempt to use good judgment and courtesy in all your interactions in the community and certainly Be Safe and Act According to the law. Thank You!
When Posting A Video:
DO:
- Greet the audience
- Identify yourself by screen name/pseudonym and, if you are responding to someone in an interactive game or challenge etc., address them by their screen name/pseudonym (best attempt) and/or your Motivator, where applicable (like we did in our Hyperspace games before the platform went offline)
- Say the Starting Passphrase early in your video before your exercise. (Keep the community accountable, so people don't submit repeat videos from earlier dates) We don't have to worry about Deep Fakes, yet, but one day it may become a hassle to deal with
- The entire exercise should remain within the video frame
- If you pause and restart a video, say the Starting Passphrase again.
- Say the Finishing Passphrase at the end of your video
- Have Fun!
- Be Safe!
- Thank the audience for viewing!
Below further down on this page, there are notes on User Videos for Official Tests, etc. Be sure to check them out!
DON'T:
- Submit videos of very poor quality or without the subject within the frame
- Submit videos from earlier dates (if expired) with dubbed in/voiceover passphrases. Announcements will be made to make it easy to comply.
- Cheat or post cheater/spam posts and/or videos
- Be rude
- Advertise
- Spam!
- Get hurt or perform unsafe practices!
- Over-report and/or tattle on other users for non-violations. Please be an adult. The EN Admin takes reports seriously. Just as a responsible adult wouldn't call 911 to report petty non-criminal issues, please use discretion on what issues you bring to The EN Admin. This will allow The EN Admin to better serve the community.
These are guidelines that will help the community get along with less disputes and will be updated over time. Generally, we intend to work toward making the governance of our community very extremely limited and decentralized.
Here's an example of a typical user video for a Level.
Important information to include in a User Video:
- Your Pseudonym (optional)
- Name of exercise (spoken and/or written)
- Level (spoken or written)
- Weight (display; show the weight/try to prove the weight is real)
- Level details (Weight, Reps, & Sets - spoken or written)
- Starting Passphrase (spoken)
- Performance of exercise/challenge etc.
- Finishing Passphrase (spoken)
