Disclosures
We ask that you disclose any medical information that may be relevant to your child or the safety of other golfers/staff working in close proximity. For instance:
- Medications
- Known Allergies
- Injuries
- Special Needs
- Behavioural Irregularities
Weather Policy
In case of heavy rain, thunder or lighting we will move all students to the driving range or clubhouse. No refunds will be issued for classes lost to bad weather. If more than 75% of a class is lost to bad weather, we will make up the time lost on another day.
Parents Responsibility
We welcome parents to watch and encourage their children during class. Golf is a very difficult game, one that cannot be mastered. Your child will make lots of mistakes, but this is the best way to learn. The most important thing is that they have fun, learn new skills and make new friends.
Right to Dismiss
GolfKidz reserves the right to dismiss any golfer whose behavior is detrimental to the experience of others participating in programs or thought to be disrespectful to the game, the golfer, or the organization. Parents and guardians in addition to all golfers should review the academy and golf course rules prior to a first class and ask any questions they may have. In the case of misconduct or rules violations, and at the discretion of the coach (with input from other staff), golfers may be subject to a temporary in-class suspension, immediate dismissal from the day, or permanent ban from the academy with no refund of class term fees.
Disrespectful Behaviour
There is a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful behaviour and students are advised to know and understand course and academy rules in order to participate in class. Foul language, harassing or teasing other golfers, and causing damage to the course or equipment are all examples of disrespectful behaviour (subject to right to dismiss).
Program Changes
GolfKidz reserves the right to make any changes to the program structure or fee structure prior to a new term, or cancel a class or program at any time. Parents will receive a refund for any remaining weeks. All parents will be notified of any changes prior to them happening.
