I had severe abdominal separation with both of my babies & it never healed. I had been to physios, you name it, but no luck & they have remained separated for almost 4 years.

First and foremost, you need to get along to the classes! This forms the basis of the program and gets you connected with those who are on that same journey!
Develop that habit of getting to the gym 2-3x per week by making use of both the daily classes and/or using your 24/7 access.
A weights-based workout focused on helping you build muscular and skeletal strength and help familiarise you with different gym exercises, all while getting a sweat on!
Perfecting form and technique is an important aspect of this class, with the aim to see progression in weights lifted and reps achieved over the course of the program.
Suitable for all ages and abilities as every workout can be adapted to suit your individual needs!
A more ‘cardio’ focused workout aimed to increase the heart rate and challenge your muscular and cardiovascular endurance.
More movement-focused and will help to increase mental resilience as well.
Typically started with an exercise-based game to show you that exercising can be FUN!
THIS IS NOT A PROGRAM YOU DO AND THEN GO BACK TO WHAT YOU WERE DOING BEFORE - WE ARE AFTER REAL AND SUSTAINABLE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!
A big part of taking these steps and starting a journey like this is committing to some lifestyle changes! This makes your progress both achievable and sustainable.
Start thinking of some positive habits you want to build and some habits that may affect you negatively / hold you back that you want to burn.
We will be taking small, incremental steps towards making these lifestyle changes. It will take time, but this is how you make true sustainable positive progress.
As part of the WBB Program you will receive the WBBP Logbook. This comes with everything you need to keep track of anything and everything that is related to your goals. Don’t worry - it’s not a huge job! But will require you to spend a small amount of time per week reflecting, learning a bit more about yourself and locking in on small things here and there.
Overall, we are trying to do one main thing. Commit to prioritising a few hours per week on ourselves, show up consistently and do what we call “stack the days”. Three days of showing up becomes six, which becomes twelve. As you stack the days the progress stacks up and you will start seeing those “small wins”, which also start to stack.
What proceeds this is a new version of yourself that is growing in confidence as you are seeing more and more small wins that become a mountain over time.
Our mindset, how we view ourselves and this journey is absolutely crucial to where we are going. We need you to believe that you are capable of amazing things and that this journey is worth taking to see where you can go and what you can accomplish - because if you stick to it, you will surprise yourself!
The female body works differently to men’s. A vast majority of studies related to health, fitness and nutrition research is conducted using only male participants.... meaning the bulk of the health tips, guidance advice and dietary guidelines come with a heavy bias and won’t always work the way it says it will for your body as a woman.
The female body is complex and busy, but we are here to help guide you on the day to day and give you simple guidelines to keep you moving in the right direction.
*NOTE: First of all, everyones’ pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience is completely different and so these general guidelines may not be applicable to your specific case. The safest and most important thing you can do is to consult a medical professional and get cleared to exercise.*
Step 1: Rest
Straight after birth it is important you let your body rest as much as you can. This rest is important to enable you to heal properly, minimise further complications, and to help reduce your overall recovery time.
Step 2: Light exercise
After the first initial couple of weeks it is good to start introducing some light exercise, if your body feels up to it. This includes walking, stretching, yoga and pilates. As you reach the 6 week mark and get clearance from your doctor you may be able to start jogging and some lighter resistance training again.
Step 3: Increase the intensity - join a WBBP class!
Once you hit 10 weeks, have been given the all clear to exercise again already, and have been gradually increasing the intensity of the exercise you have been doing then you are able to come and join our classes! The classes can be adapted to help you ease into them, with the aim to increase intensity across the weeks as your fitness and strength improves.
If you are less than 30 weeks pregnant, have been exercising regularly throughout your pregnancy so far, and feel well enough to exercise at moderate intensity then you are welcome to come along and try a class! We can adapt exercises to suit your growing bump and adjust weights accordingly, but it is important that you have been exercising similarly before and during your current pregnancy.
