Dr. LaFarra, a long-time pathologist and autoimmune thriver, recognized the positive effect that looking her best had on feeling her best. Conversely, having experiences like pink burning eyes with mascara or liner and painful red eyes with extensions sometimes had the opposite health effect.
Realizing that she, like many other women, had developed sensitivity to toxic ingredients in cosmetics, she sought an alternative to traditional ways to "wake up" her face.
