CEO of Fit and Balanced // ISSA Certified Personal Trainer // OFNC Online Fitness and Nutrition
Hi hello! I’m Jacey, otherwise known as @jaceylynfit on Instagram. If you don’t know me, I’m the CEO here at Fit and Balanced Coaching! I have dual majors (Marketing and Management) from the amazing Texas Tech University, I’m a certified personal trainer through ISSA, and also specialized in Online Fitness and Nutrition Coaching (OFNC). Next on the checklist is a pre and post-natal certification, since we have so many mommas in our community!
If we’re NOT talking about health, fitness, or personal development… You’ll find me watching movies or playing video games with my husband, Derek. Yes, we like video games. Fun fact: we are middle school sweethearts! I’m a dog mom to three beautiful brats and a cat mom to two *also* little brats. I LOVE to travel (take me to the beach and I’m happy) but I’m also a huge homebody… weird, I know.
My fitness journey began in 2015 when I thought eating 1,000 calories a day and running my booty off was the way to lose fat and get “toned.” I couldn’t have been more wrong. After YEARS of borderline disordered behaviors I finally discovered reverse dieting and resistance training. My life was forever changed. After experiencing an amazing transformation by eating more and working out less, I had to let other women in on this secret.
Enter: the creation of Fit and Balanced Coaching. My ultimate goal in life is to teach women how to feel confident in their skin through getting stronger and fueling their bodies. No more fad diets. No more fast fixes. No more 1200 calories. No more excessive cardio. We are getting FIT and BALANCED. This community is making that mission a reality. I’m inspired by our clients every single day and honored FAB gets to be a part of HUNDREDS of lives changed for the better!
NASM Certified Personal Trainer // OFNC Online Fitness and Nutrition // Health/Mindset Coach // Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness
Hey everyone! Coach Becca here! I am 23 years old. I am from Wisconsin. I worked as a Manager of a gym for about a year and I have been in the online coaching space for about 1.5 years now. I ran my own coaching business for about a year but decided the whole business owner thing was not for me. SO, that’s how I found my way to the Fit and Balanced Team as an Assistant Coach.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Health and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Health/Mindset Coach and I will be finishing up an Online Fitness/Nutrition Coaching Specialization Course soon!
In my free time, you can find me in the gym, on trails with my dog, with my friends/family, traveling, or finding fun new coffee shops and restaurants!
I have been on my own fitness journey for close to 7 years now! I have a history of being a cardio queen, restricting food like crazy, and running my body into the ground trying to achieve my “dream body.” After years of struggling, restricting, questioning whether I was doing the right things I finally realized none of those things would get me where I was looking to go. I eventually had to reverse diet and hired a coach to get me out of the overworking/restricting mentality I was in. That is ultimately what led me to coaching and where I am today! I don’t want women to question what their doing, struggle, or have a frustrating journey like I did. I am so passionate about helping women become the best, most confident, and free versions of themselves.
I absolutely love helping women reverse diet, and get out of overworking/restricting mentalities. I also LOVE working with brides helping them become their most confident and best selves by their wedding days. Together we can lose fat, build strength, improve confidence, all while making fitness and health a lifestyle with ease!
ISSA Certified Personal Trainer // ISSA Certified Sports Nutrition Coach // OFNC Online Fitness and Nutrition
Hey y’all my name is Julie Michelle, but you can call me Julie! I am the Canadian of the team. I am from the city called Winnipeg, which is located in Manitoba. Yes... it gets cold in the wintertime! I became an Online Fitness Coach back in July 2020. I have been running my own coaching business since then. However, I realized that running a business wasn’t really for me, and that’s when I got my dream job as an Assistant Coach for Fit and Balanced Coaching.
Going to the gym is definitely one of my hobbies, but I have so many more than that! I love to go for nature walks and exploring new trails. I also enjoy taking my cat Luna outside and spending quality time with her. Burgers, fries and ice cream is a MUST for me. My first language is French, and I am still very fluent with it!
10 years ago I was a cardio bunny. I barely lifted weights, and when I did, I was barely doing anything. I finally started getting into lifting weights. I fell in love with the vibe at the gym. I wanted to be that girl who could just show up and lift weights even if it was full of guys. Fitness became a huge part of my life at this point. Then I found out about quick fixes and fad diets…and they do not work. I was frustrated, but I was so eager to do this on my own, and now I look back and honestly WISH I HAD A COACH, because I definitely would have sped up the process and wouldn’t have wasted time doing things that aren’t sustainable for me. I started my transformation when I focused more on making sure I am eating enough for my body and goals. I realized that the less I restricted the more results I achieved. Being able to reach my goals WHILE eating my burger, fries and ice cream has been life-changing. My mindset has changed. I do not look at food as “bad” or “good”, like I used to.
I help clients reach their goals by teaching them to become the best version of themselves. You can have an amazing physical transformation…. However, if we don’t take care of our mindset, our wellness and our energy inside, we may not feel the best. It is far beyond just the physical transformation. I care so much about your wellness, your stress levels and your mindset. Two of my favorite things about coaching is finding a sustainable method for them and changing my clients’ mindset when it comes to food. I am so excited to help you become the best version of yourself while still eating your favorite foods! If I can, why can’t you? Let’s get started!
