How do we reconcile life's terrible tragedies with God’s mercy? Father Chris explains, sharing his own personal story of conversion through the suicide of his grandmother, the power of Divine Mercy, and his witness that God can create a greater good from any tragedy.

Ryan and Kelly Breaux gave birth to a set of twins in 2005, a son Talon and a daughter Emma Grace.

Talon died after 15 days with Emma Grace joining her brother in Heaven three years later.

Their lives were propelled onto a personal journey of both discovery and recovery after battling a decade of darkness in their marriage. By the grace of God, their marriage was saved. Through the Sacraments of the Catholic Church, the Breaux’s found healing and restoration.

Through personally experiencing the loss of a child and through their own suffering, the thirst of bringing those who suffer back to the light and to the Lord grew.  Therefore, they looked to Mother Teresa (patroness of Red Bird Ministries) for passion and inspiration to serve those who are suffering, specifically through the loss of a child.

In the gift of restoration, they felt called to help others navigate the pain and unexpected challenges that come from the loss of a child, and through their first divine vocation of parenthood, Red Bird Ministries was born.

Talk on Alessandro Serenelli and the Role of Forgiveness.

This talk will focus on the reality of the divisions that exist in our world, in our societies, in our families and in our hearts.  These divisions come from a lack of peace, a lack of forgiveness and perhaps a lack of honesty.  The talk will reflect on the power of the Sacrament of Confession focussing on the action of God who can give a peace that the world cannot give.

In our addiction to our fallen sin nature, we wallow in self-condemning shame. The cross can’t do its work if we are standing in front of the cross. Recovery from our fallen nature comes from positioning ourselves behind the cross. This session’s goal is to give key insights to help us identity what is blocking us from staying behind the cross of unconditional love.

What does healing have to do with worship? Scripture shows that our worship of God transforms our minds, increases faith, makes demons flee, and weakens the kingdom of darkness. In this talk, Dr. Mary Healy will unveil the hidden power of worship to release God’s healing into our lives.

Each day we need to step into our inheritance and choose to receive the Father's gaze of mercy, love, and delight upon us.
