Welcome to The EN Blog. Blog sounds like an alien's name, doesn't it? If there were aliens (will we ever prove or disprove this?), I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the most popular name a mother chose for her alien squid-child was Blog. Something about it is suiting. I can hear the less nagging, soothing voice of a mother calling for her sweet Blog. "Blog!" "Blog!" Come downstairs! If there's no answer, it's because the tech-nerd, fitness enthusiast alien is busy making exercises to add to The EN on his quantum computer. It's got to be ready to sell memberships to by next Saturday!

Well..., maybe this Sci-Fi blurb (another good alien name, btw), needs to be cut short (THE END!) but below, you can find an assortment of additional stories and news, as they come, on The EN Blog! Again, WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EN Exercise Network was dreamed up and advertised mainly to organize group activities (hikes & sports) to get people to help other people stay motivated to get exercise...

2013

We have a snippet of a clip from the original hike that landed The EN's flag in the dirt as an exercise social network.

Mostly the footage was low quality due to the lack of lighting during the night time and the equipment technology, so it's mostly just a fun memory!

2016

The road for The EN has been long, winding, and beautiful so far and we enjoy it as it unfolds!

The funding of The EN and it's planned activities began early off as a network marketing idea. This model had shifted and changed over a while. In 2016, The EN began trying decentralized social media to engage it's users and experimented with some blockchain financial technology. The EN Blog on Steemit began around June that year and has survived well past 2020. A few other platforms had been tried and tested, but mostly abandoned for one reason or another...

2018

The Journey Down the Decentralized Social Media Road has continued... and still does!

A WildSpark Workout... That was the name of an activity idea used on a now obsolete Web App that is no longer being worked on by the dev team of WildSpark. The developers had changed over their work onto another project called HyperSpace that was interesting and that The EN used as well until the end of 2019! On WildSpark and HyperSpace, there were games created and challenges meant to encourage users to perform and post exercises in response to other users according to the rules of the games. For instance, There were games that followed a set of rules called Increasing, Decreasing, and Rubberbanding Games. Those were good old days, but 2020 and on is going to hold some exciting days!

2020

2020 is over. "Good riddance", some people say. lol. Well, besides the Coronavirus disrupting everyone's lives there were some cool things that happened...

For instance, the very first Routines were created in the Riverside branch of The EN! Aardwolf & Arctic Wolf were the first two. Good job, Showoff!!!
