Back in the eighties (showing my age now!) I used to do a regular Friday lunch with my colleagues at the newspaper, and anyone else who wanted to come along was always welcome.
And then the Coronavirus came along and meeting in a pub wasn’t going to happen. But why cancel? Why not go online? So we did!
It’s still casual and anyone in Australia can come and join us. Every Friday. Starting at 12.30 (Melbourne time) and running for at least an hour or two. Grab a glass and have a chat with other female founders and women in business.
So many amazing women are in the group that the lunches are a bit of a 'Brains Trust'! Great friendships have been made and a lot of business gets done - even though it's a purely social situation.
